A year ago, I was thinking about my classroom. Wondering about the children in my class. Considering how I was going to help them tell their stories.
This year I am busy with details left over from moving our program to a new campus. Wondering how the teachers will fit into their new classrooms. Thinking about ways to help the children and parents make their way in a place that is not quite so cozy.
I am thinking about how writing is such an important part of this transition. Writing lists, writing notes, writing out plans, questions, ideas, and hopes. I have plenty to think about. Now I just need to make sure I don’t let all of this thinking get lost. I think I need a new notebook.
